Hey Everyone!
I know it has been awhile and I am sorry if you thought that I had given up on the blog but I haven't, it is just that we have been VERY BUSY. The biggest reason is that we have added a few new members to our family. Remember my pony Rudy? Well Rudy and his girlfriend Pumpkin have moved to our farm and we are so happy to have them!

Another BIG addition to our family is another LEARN rescue named Scarlett. We adopted her on March 2nd. If I am not at school or helping take care of Rudy and Pumpkin I am out with Scarlett. Being a horse owner is A LOT of work! We have been working very hard on being a team and I think it is going pretty well.

I can only speak for myself but adopting Scarlett and Pumpkin has been the most amazing thing I have done in my life. Just like the cat we adopted from the ASPCA, they seem to be as grateful to receive my love as I am to give it. There are still many horses left at the rescue that need their forever home and forever person. I would LOVE to introduce YOU to a horse that will change YOUR life for the better!
What has been going on at LEARN? My Mom and I have been busy there too. Since I last blogged, we adopted a pig in honor of National Pig Day. We had our first Youth/Volunteer day that was a lot of fun and I loved meeting all those new people. We vaccinated over 50 horses at the first Low Cost Vaccination & Coggins Clinic. We have had 8 horses adopted but had 2 new starvation cases come in. Along with Scarlett and Pumpkin, Allie is now a part of the Lott Family and actually lives with Scarlett right down the street from my house. They are best friends and are loving their new home. Charlie and Cinnamon have found new Mom's too and are very happy at their new forever homes. Buster Brown, Sullivan and Party went to live at a fabulous new home in Tennessee. The starvation cases that came in are Molly, a sweet girl who looks like a big Rudy and Bono who going to be a very handsome boy when he fattens up. We also had a booth at Pet Fest last weekend. Tomorrow is the first low cost gelding clinic at Edisto Vet Clinic. Enjoy the pictures below and I hope it helps you see ALL that has been going on!

I will apologize one more time for being gone for so long. I have been very busy making sure our new family members are adjusting well to their new home. I think they are settling in and realize that they will be safe and loved here for the rest of their lives.
There are a lot of exciting things that will be happening at LEARN very soon. Please check back often to hear about what is going on! Thanks for stopping by!
Love your heart and all the wonderful things you do. The Johnsons from Ohio
